Kyle Washington is originally from Houston, Texas, and is the youngest of 5 children. He raised his daughters as a single father while working as an executive for a major corporation. He enjoys traveling the world meeting new people and asking to hear their stories. Kyle Washington’s phenomenally moving debut novel “Empty Calories” is inspired by events, occurrences, and people he has met throughout his life. The idea for the novel was formed in 2005, and the title came to him in 2019. He began passionately writing the novel during the devastating 2020 pandemic. His writing style is brave, entertaining, thought-provoking, and moving.
