Kurt Hausheer is a novelist, inventor, and storyteller who explores the meeting point between science, myth, and human will. Drawing on a background in leadership, invention, and endurance training, he writes stories where logic and legend collide — and where survival becomes both a question of strength and spirit. He is the creator of The Time Bureau Files, an epic science-fantasy series that merges time travel, divine warfare, and the fate of civilizations into one vast continuum. His fiction often centers on the tension between rational futures and ancient powers — a theme he calls the Reality Inversion Arc, where the world begins as science and ends as myth. Before turning to fiction, Kurt served as a U.S. naval officer, completing Hell Week with BUD/S Class 155 before transitioning into naval oceanography, where he routed ships around typhoons and guided aircraft into the jet stream to save fuel and extend mission endurance. The experience of operating at the edge of chaos — balancing precision, endurance, and decision under pressure — continues to shape his characters and the worlds they inhabit. Kurt studied at Graceland University, where he played for one of their championship volleyball teams and later patented the PlyoTower, an adjustable jump-training system for elite athletic development. His lifelong fascination with endurance, innovation, and the limits of human potential informs both his writing and the futures he builds. He lives surrounded by notebooks, storyboards, and maps of worlds that have yet to be discovered — always writing toward the horizon between what is known and what is possible.
