I've always been passionate about writing and creativity. Publishing Abu and Budoo opened a new chapter for me as a children's author and illustrator, inspiring me to continue creating playful, imaginative stories. Originally from the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand, I grew up surrounded by nature — the forest, fresh water rivers, and the ocean. It helped shape the person I am today, giving me a deep affinity for animals and birds, as well as a love for travel and languages — influences that still inspire my work today. Growing up in a big family as the second oldest, I naturally took on a nurturing role. Although I am not a mother myself, nurturing young imaginations through stories has always been close to my heart. Now based in Switzerland, my father's homeland, I have recently rediscovered my love for storytelling and am excited to explore other genres, including poetry, spirituality, and writing my first novel. I hope to bring a little joy into the world through my books — and I'm enjoying every step of the journey. Bringing a little more light and wonder into the world, one story at a time.
