Kristina Herzog is from Berlin, Germany and is able to prove it with her accent if necessary. She has studied Law, Biology and History in Berlin and Heidelberg (yes, the one with the romantic castle and the pretty houses at the Neckar), but went back to Berlin, because she could. Since she lacked the seriousness necessary for working in the legal field, she switched to novels and has released quite a handful of them since, including some that were nominated for prices and others which became bestsellers. She loves writing historical books as well as cozy mysteries. Kristina resides in the north of Berlin, surrounded by woods, fields and pastures, together with her family and her gigantic love for books – both writing and reading.
