ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kimberley RB Johnson heads two non-profits which support a K-12 school and large church in Lafito, Haiti. She is personally completing construction on a small hotel, Ti Otel La, for short term missionaries in Minotrie, Haiti. Ms. Johnson sponsored her Haitian “son”, Jean Bildad Michel, to university in the USA. Together or separately, their combined efforts jump started the K-12 school, a leadership academy, the hotel, a restaurant, a Western Union station, and the construction of a large church in Haiti in addition to their normal mission trips. The Haitian high school, Complexe, celebrated its first graduation in July of 2019. Kimberley is married to Samuel Dwight Johnson, a former missionary for seven years to Turkey, a former worship pastor, and now nurse. They reside in White House, Tennessee and are active members of White House First Baptist Church. Together, they have eleven children and three grandchildren. Kimberley is owner of the Goodlettsville law firm, Freeman & Bracey, PLC, along with her law partner, Russell Freeman. Johnson focuses her practice on trial work including family law, divorce, child support, adoptions, custody, estates, automobile wrecks and personal injuries. She is a daily court litigant, a former law professor at Nashville School of Law, and a listed Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator. Her mission efforts can be located on Facebook at WHFBC Haiti Ministries or TIME4Haiti or on the website www.time4haiti.org. In her spare time, she enjoys public speaking, traveling, dancing, and (of course) writing. Further book information can be found on Facebook at Be The Donkey.
