Kerri Andrews is the best-selling of Pathfinding: On Walking, Motherhood, and Freedom, published by Elliott and Thompson in March 2025. She is also the author of the enormously popular Wanderers: A History of Women Walking (Reaktion) and editor of Way Makers, the first ever anthology of women’s writing about walking (Reaktion). Her edition of Nan Shepherd’s Correspondence, 1920-80 (Edinburgh University Press) was longlisted for the Saltire Research Book of the Year 2024. When not writing Kerri can be found on a hill somewhere in southern Scotland, where she lives with her two young children. Occasionally they can be persuaded to come walking, too.
