Kent always had a knack for making bad decisions early in life. That's probably why he spent seven years working in school publishing before quitting it all to open a restaurant with his mother. Looking back, he's a little embarrassed by that one. Still, during those months staring into the tragic reality of his own choices, Kent discovered LitRPG and thought, "Why not?" Several stories later, he finally managed to turn writing into a living. No more textbooks, no more failed restaurants, just a lot of books to write. He still cooks, though. Pretty much every day. It's not easy maintaining the title of Best Home Cook of All Time.
