Kenneth L. Powell is a fantasy author from Oregon and the founder of Avwakin Publishing. He writes stories filled with dragons, prophecy, rebellion, supernatural forces, time travel, dangerous secrets, and characters forced to make impossible choices when the worlds around them begin to fracture.

He is the author of the Dragonkind series, beginning with Dawn of Prophecy and continuing through Herald of Heresy and Scholar of Duplicity. The series follows an expanding conflict shaped by prophecy, power, betrayal, war, and the consequences of choices made across generations.

Kenneth is also the author of The Hybrids, an urban fantasy story centered on supernatural forces and hidden dangers, as well as the Savior series, which begins with Time Detective and explores time travel, alternate realities, and threats that reach far beyond a single timeline.

His stories often connect fantasy with larger questions about loyalty, identity, destiny, sacrifice, family, and whether the future is something that must be accepted or something that can be changed.

Many of these stories have been developing for more than twenty years. What began as a single manuscript eventually grew into multiple series, interconnected storylines, and an expanding fictional universe. Kenneth continues to build that world through new novels, collections, audiobooks, and future projects published under Avwakin Publishing.

In addition to his individual novels, Kenneth has released collected editions that bring multiple stories together, including Woven Destinies and Prophetic Revolution: Dragonkind (Books 1–3), giving readers additional ways to experience the larger saga.
Outside of writing, Kenneth enjoys gaming, storytelling in all its forms, building websites, and working on creative projects that usually lead to even more ideas for future books.
