Chicago-based Master Sommelier and serial entrepreneur Ken Fredrickson spent his early career working alongside culinary giants Wolfgang Puck and Charlie Trotter. After leaving the restaurant world, Ken built and sold innovative, customer-focused wine and spirits distribution companies and completed a winery turnaround. Currently, he operates Tenzing, A Wine and Spirits Company, which is dedicated to the hospitality sector. An Ironman participant and enthusiast, Ken focuses his charitable efforts on the Mayo Clinic and its specific treatment of mood-related illness and bi-polar disorder. Ken is a long-time supporter of Pilot Light Chefs program, an organization promoting nutrition through education in Chicago public schools. In his free time, you can find Ken entertaining friends and family, traveling with his partner Maria, and chasing their four-year-old son around.
