Ken Harris spent thirty-two years with the FBI, retiring as a cybersecurity executive. After decades writing intelligence reports for senior government officials, he turned his attention to crime fiction—where his insider perspective brings grit, authenticity, and moral complexity to every page. He’s the author of the From the Case Files of Steve Rockfish series, blending old-school detective grit with sharp humor and contemporary edge. When he’s not putting his PI through the wringer, Ken enjoys life on Virginia’s Northern Neck with his wife, Nicolita, and their two Labradors, Shady and Chalupa Batman. Evenings are spent with Walkabout Mini Golf, Philly sports, and the occasional Montecristo cigar paired with Irish whiskey. He swears by Tool and Pink Floyd as the only soundtrack a writer ever needs.
