Ken Barrick (1967 - ) is an American born author from Baltimore, MD. His first book, The First 130 Feet reached as high as #11 on the Amazon.com Top New Releases in Watersports on December 2, 2011. His second title, The Journey, was released in February 2015. His newest book, The Cyclist is his first fictional effort and has been well received. This mystery Thriller follows the life of Robert Kinney as he develops his new alter-ego - The Cyclist. Ken is an avid underwater videographer with sixteen diving related films to his credit including The Sand Tigers of North Carolina and Truk Lagoon. He is an active PADI and PSAI Scuba Instructor and has written a Specialty course program for each titled In Water Boat Maintenance. Ken founded Eastern Marine Services (formerly KB Diver Services Inc.) and Eastern Watersports, two Maryland based businesses; which he sold in 2015 to pursue his writing ambitions. He is married to his wife Michelle and they live with their Rhodesian Ridgeback Kimba.
