Keith Martin is a librarian in his hometown of Westport, Ireland. He has enjoyed writer residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll cottage. His main hobby is writing film screenplays no-one wants to produce. He served as a Councillor on Westport Town Council from 2004 until 2014, when the council was abolished. He accepts no responsibility whatsoever for its abolition. He lives alone, by choice, but would like to point out that it was someone else's choice, not his.
