Keith & Kristyn Getty are Grammy-nominated songwriters and authors who have dedicated their lives to equipping believers with hymns to carry for a lifetime. Together, they co-founded the Getty Music organization, which helps people learn the Bible through hymns and song. As the cowriters of many of today's most-sung hymns (including "In Christ Alone," co-written with Stuart Townend) Keith became the first church musician of the modern era to receive the OBE from Queen Elizabeth II for services to music and hymn writing. Kristyn's voice has become synonymous with modern hymns, and she is particularly passionate about helping children and families learn their faith through song. The Gettys are coauthors of "Sing! How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church," and Kristyn is the author of "Pippa and the Singing Tree" and "Joni Eareckson Tada: The Girl Who Learned to Follow God in a Wheelchair." They lead the annual Sing! Conference, which gathers pastors, musicians, and church leaders from around the world. Originally from Northern Ireland, Keith and Kristyn now live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their four daughters.
