I'm a semi-retired elementary school teacher, author, publisher, and speaker and loving it! The Bandana Acres series' goal is to help kids (ages 5-8) transition from picture to chapter books. They are infused with family and friendship value themes and the animal adventures will appeal to first and second graders and as read-aloud books for preschoolers. 2020 Release: Originally planned as a middle-grade novel, Emeline - A Journey became a young adult novel (a historical fiction adventure based in 1890 America for ages 12-16). The story is close to my heart and includes some actual events from my life. Available on Amazon in softcover, ebook, and soon, audiobook. The deluxe hardcover version is currently available from my website only. NEW in March 2021, a companion book: My Journey.
