Karina Evans lives in Hastings, East Sussex and has worked as a copywriter for many years. Her first two novels: Volcano, and Where Sunflowers Fail to Thrive are social narratives, focusing on the unspoken and 'undesirable' aspects of society. She is currently writing a series: The DS Isobel Hester series, which features a strong female protagonist determined to avenge her brother's death while single-handedly catching the country's numerous serial killers. Karina lives with her partner, Tony, and her three children.
