Karen Wheeler is a former national newspaper fashion editor. She studied Modern History at Kings College, London University and worked briefly at Sotheby's art auctioneers before embarking on a career in fashion journalism.

During her career she has interviewed many of fashion's top names including Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani and Calvin Klein. Her work has appeared in the Financial Times, Vogue Japan, the Mail on Sunday, You magazine, the Daily Mail and Sunday Times Style.

She has written four books about her life in France plus a Kindle Short Read called 'France in Four Seasons'. Her latest work is a series of four e-books, entitled Dream Cottage: Four Seasons in Devon, about life in a coastal village in southwest England.
