Born and raised in British Columbia, Kaila is a dedicated mother raising two wonderful sons. While she earned a diploma in social work, writing has always been her true passion. Finding solace and expression in her words, Kaila has a knack for crafting engaging narratives. She particularly loves writing poems, and ‘romantasy’. Her debut novel, Mystique, is a testament to her talent and dedication. After gaining valuable experience working with children in a school setting, Kaila decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an author. She’s already begun working on the sequel to Mystique, eager to continue the captivating story she’s started. Balancing her responsibilities with her writing career hasn't always been easy.
