KABIR JAFFE is a pioneer in the new energy-based psychology and spirituality. He is a psychologist, astrologer, energy therapist, author, and the Founder of Essence Training, the Energy Balancing Institute and the Science of Human Potential Institute. Kabir started his journey of inner work more than 40 years ago. With an extensive professional background as a clinical psychologist and 18 years' experience living an ashram in India, Kabir describes himself as a "man with two wings—scientist on one side and mystic on the other”. In 1995, he and his partner Ritama founded Essence Training, an Inner Work School helping people learn how to use energy to awaken consciousness and bring positive change to the world. Fascinated by the evolution of consciousness, Kabir has developed a new branch of psychology: the Science of Human Potential. His models of the psyche map the inter-relationship of energy, consciousness, evolution and spirituality with the aim of helping others better understand the profound evolutionary step humanity is currently undergoing at this time in history. Now, after decades of training holistic professionals, Kabir has launched the 'Energy Balancing Institute' and a think-tank called the 'Science of Human Potential Institute'. His book collaborations include Indigo Adults: Forerunners of the New Civilization and Your Energy in Action: Energy Balancing for Daily Living.
