K. J. Fieler is a novelist and former syndicated humor columnist whose work appeared in metropolitan Florida newspapers and Rockwall Texas Success. Her short story “Loyalty” appeared in Chronicle Worlds: Legacy Fleet, an anthology included in the Lunar Codex’s Peregrine Collection, a literary and arts time capsule carried aboard Astrobotic’s Peregrine lunar lander. Her debut novel, Shadow Runner, is the first in a three-book series.

Fieler served as author liaison for the Florida First Coast Writers’ Festival and worked behind the scenes during the original run of Writer to Writer, a television series produced by Florida Community College at Jacksonville—now Florida State College at Jacksonville. The FSCJ Digital Archive credits her on several preserved segments alongside the festival’s early producers and crew. She also worked as a publicist for American authors Kevin Robinson, Patrick Davis Smith, Jack Hunter, and others.

She served on the editorial team of State Street Review, the college’s flagship literary and arts magazine, and helped organize its major seasonal editions. Fieler was active in Northeast Florida’s literary community through the Bard Society and North Florida Writers, both founded by Frank Armstrong Green, who remained her mentor for decades.

She splits her time between rural New Hampshire and the wilds of Arizona, spending much of the year writing from state and national parks across the country while traveling with her husband in their Airstream, Tin Turtle.
