K.C. Blackwell writes dark romance with a pulse. Stories built on tension, tenderness, and the kind of love that leaves bruises in all the right places.

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, she’s a mom, a grandma, and a lifelong storm chaser who’s never been afraid to stand too close to the storm center. When she’s not writing, she’s probably out chasing skies, wrangling animals, or diving headfirst into a book filled with morally grey men and women who refuse to stay in their lane.

At 45, K.C. has learned that life, much like fiction, is equal parts chaos and beauty, and she’s happiest when she’s writing the space where those two things collide. Her debut novel, Escape, is a dark, emotional plunge into devotion, damage, and the thin line between ruin and redemption.

She believes every sinner deserves a story. And she’s here to tell them.
