Juwairiya Khan is a Canadian author, poet and songwriter. Born in Al Samiya, Kuwait, where her family settled after migrating from Mumbai, India. A few short years later, Juwairiya immigrated to Canada with her family. Juwairiya found solace in storytelling as a child, which soon became a form of therapy for herself. Juwairiya's ongoing journey as an immigrant woman infused with her love for the art of story-telling has evolved into a creative pursuit. Her driving force is to be a voice for those feeling unheard, out of place and facing the trials and tribulations of life as they try to make sense of a new world.
