Justyn Comer was first taught how to meditate by an Anglican priest as part of confirmation training but has also studied in India, Europe and the United States. He got a degree in Theology and Religious Studies at Cambridge University. He moved to the United States in 1992, and worked in Silicon Valley before moving to New York where he worked on Wall Street for twenty years. He started teaching meditation informally in 1999 and in 2017 established RWM Education Inc., a non-profit dedicated to making meditation available to as many people as possible.
