When my first child was born, I was confronted with a dilemma. Do I continue working as a computer programmer, supporting an online application for custom crush winemakers? Or do I become a stay-at-home-dad? After meeting my daughter for the first time, it wasn't a dilemma anymore. So I became a stay-at-home-dad. Eleven years of parenting taught me a lot, not only about kids, how people grow, etc, but I also learned a lot about myself. I realized that I should pursue what I loved doing, writing. An avid gamer, I love to play everything from video games, table top roleplaying games to live action roleplaying games. It is from those experiences and my experiences as a contract computer programmer that are a great deal of my inspiration. In addition to writing, gaming and parenting, I am a USA Archery certified instructor, I play a number of instruments, have a middle-aged-dad garage band and I write and perform my own music.
