June Cohen is a pioneer in media and technology, best known as the co-creator of TED Talks. After a career focused entirely on the future, she now believes that the most innovative ideas that match THIS moment are found... in the past. This inspired her book, "The Great Remembering." During her 11 years at TED, June co-hosted the flagship conference, working with hundreds of speakers on their talks, and launched TED Talks online, turning the conference into a global media brand reaching 1B views per year. She later cofounded the media company WaitWhat, creating the hit podcasts Masters of Scale & Meditative Story. As a college student, June led the development of Proteus, the world's first multimedia magazine. She was also part of the team that launched HotWired, Wired magazine's pioneering website. June holds a BA from Stanford, where she was editor-in-chief of The Stanford Daily. She's earned more than 100 industry awards for her work.
