Jun has lived in South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam for the better part of the last decade. During his years in Korea, he made a point of learning about and getting as close to the Korean entertainment industry as possible while writing his first novel "The Beautiful Dead." He likes exploring new cultures to inspire his writing. He's traveled everywhere from China, to England, to Hong Kong and The Maldives in search of that inspiration. He has also been an avid gamer since the mid 90s enjoying everything from table top RPGs, to LARPs to the modern MMO. His love for writing was kindled by creating back stories for his characters, and weaving lifelike descriptions as a player and GM in text based gaming. He enjoys telling stories about monstrous humans and humanized monsters. Jun has a MFA from the University of California: Riverside, graduated with a BA in English Cum Laude from the University of Washington Seattle, and attended Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea as an exchange student.
