Julio Francisco Bonilla, Jr. graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Latino Studies in January 2012 after nearly a decade of passing and failing classes due to undiagnosed ADD. While in college, he started off as a Business major with an emphasis on Computer Systems to his parents bidding. Eventually, he realized the major required lots of math, which he has trouble with. In 2007, he switched his major to Journalism until changing his major once more- Latino Studies. He was inspired to write short stories and poetry about his life while taking Creative Writing Workshop. 2012 was a big year for Julio. That summer he was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and started to take Adderall to treat the disorder. While reading up on ADHD, he realized that both parents suffer from it. Today, Julio works as a houseman for a billionaire family in Pacific Heights, writes, and reads self-help books, biographies and graphic novels.
