I'm a small-town girl from Michigan but spent most of my life in sleepy towns in Tennessee. After enduring years of abuse, I got married and began having babies at 15, and spent the next 20 years trying to escape from the hell that had become my life. At 50 years old, I came to realize that to heal from my past, I needed to get my story told. The process of reliving the past while writing was, in itself, a form of therapy I never had. I'm very happy I published my book, Hidden Inside, and hope that it will help someone else to know that there is an end to their misery and pain. I'm currently working on my first fictional stories, which is harder than I thought it would be. We will see where that goes. I recently published a guide to detecting pedophiles and their possible victims. I am very much enjoying the creativity that comes with the writing journey.
