Judith Hages was born in Düren (Germany) in 1983 and grew up in the Rhineland. She has been writing stories and collecting books since she was very young. Literature has accompanied her throughout her life, both professionally and privately. In addition to training in the city library, she completed a distance learning course in “Literary Writing” at the Cornelia Goethe Academy. In 2008, she began working in the city archives, which sparked her interest in genealogical research. At the age of 34, Judith Hages wrote her first novel (“Zeitenschmiede”), which was based on her research. The historical novel was published by Hahne & Schloemer Verlag in summer 2021. The first edition is now out of print. The second edition has been available since October 12, 2021 (Book on Demand). The audiobook has been available everywhere since September 21, 2022. The second book “Provinz-Anomalien” (contemporary novel) was published under the pseudonym Stella Nickel. The third book “Zeit des Gewissens” (Time of Conscience) was published in 2025 - a historical novel about resistance and rebellion in Berlin during the Second World War.
