Juan Pablo González has been helping organizations meet their strategic objectives for over 20 years. As a consultant, senior executive, author and speaker, he has helped leading public, private, for profit and not-for-profit employers address their most challenging strategy execution and talent management issues. Juan's practical perspective on what makes organizations "tick" results from experience working at all levels - from the Board rooms of Fortune 100 companies to the third shift on the shop floor. Professional Affiliations/Published Works Juan is a frequent speaker on people strategy and rewards topics at regional and national events, He is a co-author of Shockproof - How to Hardwire Your Business for Lasting Success (John Wiley & Sons, 2010) and his articles have appeared in publications including the International Human Resource Journal, workspan (the monthly magazine of WorldatWork) and the American Management Association's Compensation and Benefits Review. Juan serves on the Leadership Board of the Human Resources Leadership Awards of Greater Washington and is a former Board member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum. Professional Background Prior to joining Axiom Consulting Partners, Juan led consulting practices for Mercer Human Resources Consulting and for RSM McGladrey. His senior corporate roles included combining and leading the compensation, benefits and human resources information systems functions for Constellation Energy as well as for Baan Company. Juan has also been a consultant with Sibson & Company and held corporate human resources positions with Alexander and Alexander Services, Inc., (now AON Corporation), Philip Morris Companies Inc., and Salomon Brothers. Education Juan earned a Master of Arts (Honors) in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
