Joy Baker is a writer, blogger, and investigative journalist who blogs under the name "Joy the Curious." She holds a journalism degree from the University of Minnesota and, for 20 years, was co-owner of a central Minnesota advertising agency. In 2014, Joy uncovered key evidence in the Jacob Wetterling kidnapping case that helped lead to its resolution. Her work on Jacob's case has been featured in regional and national media, and in 2023 she served as co-author on Patty Wetterling's memoir, DEAR JACOB: A MOTHER'S JOURNEY OF HOPE. In addition to her writing, Joy continues to work as an independent marketing consultant and professional copywriter.
