Josh Johnson has dedicated his life to debunking black stereotypes by winning awards, setting records, and writing books. He is a former military journalist and a member of eight collegiate honor societies including Alpha Beta Gamma, Alpha Chi, Delta Mu Delta, Golden Key, Mu Kappa Tau, Phi Theta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and the SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society. He plans to set a Guinness World Record by being inducted into six ACHS-accredited honor societies within a five-year period. By the age of 23, Josh was selected as a soldier of the year, iron soldier, distinguished honor graduate, commandant’s leadership awardee, junior chef of the year, and medalist in the U.S. Army Culinary Arts Competition. In 2010, he was a victim of mental health profiling. Consequently, he was handcuffed, subjected to a polygraph, and forced to watch as authorities rummaged through his home. This transformative experience opened his eyes to the silent suffering of all marginalized groups.
