Josef Silvia is a native of Massachusetts and currently lives in the Boston area. An avid reader and writer since childhood, Josef fell in love with stories either fantastical or surreal. He has been a children's pastor, teacher, and operates a small children's theater in Dedham, MA. As a children's theater director, he wrote many plays based on popular fairytales, tweaking their endings or adding new characters and plots to well-known stories. As a result, each play was successful and Josef decided to take the characters he created and utilize them in a new book series for the young adult audience. His first book, "SNOW: Journey through the Mystic Forest," was published in 2016 and his second book was released in April 2018; "ISAAC: A Wishing Stone in the Mystic Forest."
