Jorge Hernández has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of technology, business, and high-stakes decision-making.

Trained in sound engineering and telecommunications engineering, he has worked in technology and corporate environments including INTEL, BBVA, and KPMG, while also building and running his own companies. Since 2014, he has led digital marketing projects in the real estate industry, contributing to the commercialization of hundreds of millions of euros in property, while developing ventures in software, education, and digital business.

That combination of engineering, entrepreneurship, and real-world execution has given him a front-row seat to successive waves of technological change and to a recurring pattern: new tools can dramatically increase what we are capable of doing, but greater capability does not automatically create greater value.

You can have better data, better software, better automation, and now extraordinarily capable artificial intelligence. But if you cannot understand the context, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and choose the right direction, technology simply allows you to make the wrong decision faster and at greater scale.

This is why Hernández's work has increasingly focused not on tools themselves, but on what becomes more valuable as tools become more powerful: experience, context, critical thinking, judgment, and the ability to make sound decisions under uncertainty.

His work on artificial intelligence grows out of that perspective. Rather than treating AI as another productivity tool, he focuses on a more consequential question: what happens to human professional value when intelligence, knowledge, and execution become increasingly abundant?

His central argument is that the greatest threat posed by AI is not simply that machines can perform tasks once reserved for humans. It is that millions of professionals are still building their careers around work that machines are becoming increasingly capable of doing.

The opportunity lies on the other side of that transition.

Professionals who learn to combine artificial intelligence with experience, context, judgment, accountability, and strategic direction will not merely remain relevant. They can become substantially more valuable.

Hernández writes for professionals who do not want to compete with AI, but to understand how to position themselves above the work that AI is making abundant, protect their careers, and build a professional advantage suited to the world that is now emerging.
