Jonel Juste is a journalist, a writer, and a publisher. He has been a journalist for over 20 years having worked both in Haiti and the United States for newspapers and news outlets such as Haiti Press Network (HPN), Le Matin, Le Nouvelliste, Le Floridien, and Artburst Miami. Some of his stories featured in The Miami Times, The Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Sun Sentinel etc. He's a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Juste has authored, in French, in Creole, and in English, many books of poetry, short stories, and essays such as “Carrefour de Nuit”, “Solèy, Solèy”, “Mémoire de Quarantaine”, “The Watch”, “Joseph, Prince d’Egypte”, “I loved you before I knew your name”, “Haitian Hip Hop: From Top to Bottom”, etc.
