Jonathan R. Storm is an unlikely open water swimmer. As an adult he went from a complete beginner, with no competitive swimming experience (and very little swimming experience overall), to an accomplished open water swimmer. He is the founder of Swim O'ahu, serves on the board of the Waikiki Swim Club, and has completed countless open water swims, ranging in distance from a half-mile to 10.5-miles, including the world-famous Waikiki Roughwater Swim. Mr. Storm lives and works in Honolulu, HI and enjoys hiking, attending performances by the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, and admiring the diverse marine life that can be seen while swimming off the shores of Hawaii.
