In 2003, John Wilson was made redundant from a well paid IT job in London. He’d grown to hate the rat-race and had been plotting to pack it in anyway so he took this opportunity to get into property investing. He bought a few buy to lets but quickly ran out of money. This tiny portfolio financed a year of travel in South America and a short stint living in Argentina. This felt like success but when he returned, he was forced to take a part-time job at a letting agency while he figured out what to do. After years of trial and error, John finally cracked the property code and when he did, he grew his portfolio from about 5 units to a £ multi-million portfolio of well over 30 in under 24 months, with little of his own money. The financial freedom that he won allowed him to travel the world and finally meet his lovely Californian wife, Heather. With their new son Duncan, they now live between Arizona and the UK, getting the best of both worlds. Along the way, John founded, built and sold a property management company with hundreds of properties under management. John currently runs Property Investment Blueprint, which provides online property investment education and since 2011 has educated 1000's of property investors with his articles, e-books and courses. In 2017, he released Guerrilla Property Websites, the only Deal Sourcing Websites solution for UK property investors.
