Thanks for stopping by. I write under the names John R. Corrigan as well as D.A. Keeley and K.A. Delaney (both pseudonyms -- my daughters are Delaney, Audrey, and Keeley). I am John R. Corrigan and am the director of the Writing Program and of Student Publications at Northfield Mount Hermon School, where I previously chaired the English department. I'm "Dad" to three strong, brilliant young women and married my best friend. I offer writing pedagogy workshops, worked as a journalist before teaching, am dyslexic, played college hockey, and attended the University of Texas at El Paso for my MFA. In fiction, I've played a PGA Tour player (the Jack Austin novels), a sleuth with cancer (THIS ONE DAY), and a female (you're right, that isn't easy) US Border Patrol agent who is a single mom (the Peyton Cote books). As a writer, I'm a tinkerer who revises tirelessly. I hope these efforts show up in my fiction -- and that you meet characters you relate to and find believable. Along with a host of other writers, I write a regular post for the "Type M for Murder" blog site (http://typem4murder.blogspot.com/). A Mainer through and through, I try to get to Old Orchard Beach as often as possible. I love to meet and hear from readers.
