John Peter Jones writes and builds stories about spirit, bodies, and strange worlds. He is the author of Animalis, a YA science-fiction novel about genetically engineered Animalis, a war for Earth, and a soldier who will not stay a weapon. It is on Kindle, in paperback, and as an audiobook narrated by John Hanks.

He founded Lotus Mountain Creative in 2019 in Salt Lake City: yoga art, animation, and the Steam game Narcalid, a cooperative puzzle-platformer that teaches real meditation inside the play.

He studied animation and traditional art at Brigham Young University and has worked in games, film, and educational animation.
