John R. Mora is an author, behavioral therapist, and psychology enthusiast with a passion for exploring the complexities of the human mind. A first-generation Mexican-American, John was born and raised in Southern California. His journey in the field of psychology, with a Bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and ongoing studies toward a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, informs much of his writing, which delves into themes of trust, manipulation, and human resilience. Outside of writing, John has worked as an EMT and a behavioral therapist, where he’s drawn to the progress made by children with special needs. As an autistic individual, John brings a unique perspective to his work, whether in his career or storytelling, often advocating for kindness, patience, and resilience.
