John Foster Elliott is a marriage and family therapist, musician and writer. He founded a number of outpatient and residential treatment programs in both California and Pennsylvania. John's received awards and recognition from Penn State University, the California State Assembly and Los Angeles City Council for his efforts. He currently trains other therapists, consults and has operated his private clinical practice from Los Angeles for the last forty years. He hopes that one day, with all the practice he's done that eventually he might become good at it. However, he thought that about his guitar playing but was forced to become a therapist to earn a living. Still, he has remained married for the last forty years as well to his lovely wife and best friend Beth, so he must be doing something right.
