About the Author: Johanna Constance Hunt earned her bachelor's in zoology from the University of Maine, Orono, and her master's in public health from Yale. Her hometown is Bangor, Maine, where she grew up with four brothers and more than 20 aunts and uncles. Hunt has worked as a technician in pediatric neurology research, hospital planner, chef and newspaper database editor. She currently lives in Lake Worth, Florida. ** Surprised to find the book is considered a thriller (Kirkus). I thought I was writing a normal, regular novel. It has a couple of deaths, maybe murders, but I didn't think it threw it into thriller mode (thriller to me means those movies I close my eyes during).
