Jocelyn didn't do anything sensible until going to University at the age of 40, to study a BA in BSL/English Interpreting. Subsenquently she worked for 7 years in this field, as a sign language interpreter - where she had the idea for her debut novel, 'Shh': a psychological thriller set in the Deaf community - which was long listed for the Guardian's Not The Booker Prize. Jocelyn completed an MA in 'Creative Writing - The Novel' at Brunel University. She is currently working on her fourth and fifth books: both psychological thrillers, both coming out later this year, June and October 2024! Look out for 'Mother Said So' coming out in June! A chilling, psychological look at a man and his relationship with his mother. The Playroom, out in October, is a Marmite book - you'll either love it or hate it. Most, love it.
