Jo (Gius) Branco came to novel writing late and rather by chance. He was born in Salerno Italy in 1954 and grew up in Basel Switzerland. Trained in chemistry and quality management, he spent most of his professional life in the life sciences industry in Basel. In his novels he integrates his experience and interests in the fields of computer science, biology, and astronomy into fantastic, scientifically based stories. The combination of fictional narrative and factual knowledge characterizes his novels to date. Fascinated by languages, he has ventured into the adventure of having his books translated into Italian, English, and Spanish.
