Jim S Ahoy - When I retired several years ago, I saw some non-financial retirement advice that said recent retirees needed to find a new hobby, or travel, or learn a language, or write a book, etc… I chose to write a book. I envisioned a long sea/sci-fi adventure and then wrote the first part, essentially book 1, 180 Degrees Magnetic. I also liked boats and being on the water so I eventually became a sailing instructor. What a great part-time job that has been. I introduced our daughter to fishing she she was little and we have made several fishing trips to Canada, mostly canoeing the Boundary Waters, on the Ontario/Minnesota border. I gave up on trying to learn a new language, but my wife and I did begin traveling more. We have been to 5 continents and were viewing trips to number 6, until COVID hit and changed the travel industry. We are also accomplished ballroom dancers. Our favorite dance is Tango. Fair winds and following seas.
