Jim Love is an author, musician, podcast host and also a leader IT thought leader. As host of the popular tech podcasts Hashtag Trending and Cyber Security Today, Jim is heard across the world as a leader voice in technology. For over 10 years he was the CIO and Chief Content Officer for IT World Canada. Jim's career has taken him around the world as an IT consultant. He headed an international management consulting practice for DMR Consulting and worked as a Principal in Ernst & Young's technology consulting practice. He has taught at Waterloo, York and as has been a guest lecturer around the world. As a writer he has published a large number of articles and papers in science and technology. He has been a guest editor for the Cutter Technology Digest. His book, Digital Transformation in the first person has been both a popular business success and a textbook for courses around the world As a fiction writer he has published plays, short stories, songs and musicals, He has a gold record as a song writer and was nominated for a Juno for his work with the group Sphere in the 1980's. His first fictional novel, Elisa: A Tale of Quantum Kisses was published in December 2024. In recognition of his contribution to the consulting industry, he was awarded the title of Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants (FCMC).
