Jieun Baek (born April 12, 1987 in Los Angeles, CA) is the author of "North Korea's Hidden Revolution: How the Information Underground is Transforming a Closed Society." She received her bachelors and masters Harvard University and is a doctorate student of public policy at Oxford University. Before graduate school, she worked at Google Headquarters and was a research fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
