Jessi Jezewska Stevens is the author of the novels The Exhibition of Persephone Q (a NYT Editors' Choice) and The Visitors as well as the story collection Ghost Pains. Her fiction, essays, and reporting have appeared in Foreign Policy, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Nation, Harper's, The Paris Review, Granta and elsewhere. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Middlebury College and an MFA from Columbia University, where she has taught both fiction and nonfiction. A recipient of fellowships from the German-American Fulbright Commission and the Robert B. Silvers Foundation, she currently lives with her partner in Geneva, Switzerland.
