I'm Jesse. These days I split my time between the UK and a remote camp in southern Africa, where the Wi-Fi is patchy but the sunsets are world-class. After thirty years in the software industry, most of it spent quietly wondering if I was the only one winging it (spoiler: I wasn’t), I left the corporate grind behind and started writing the kind of books I wish I'd had back then. My work focuses on imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and all the inner stuff that tends to go unspoken in high-pressure environments. I don't pretend to have all the answers—but I do believe we get a lot further when we’re honest with ourselves and each other. When I'm not writing, I’m usually somewhere off-grid, walking dusty paths, listening to bushveld silence, or chatting with folks who’ve also taken the scenic route through life.
