I write for anyone who’s ever looked around a boardroom and thought, How the hell did I end up here? These days I split my time between the UK and a remote camp in southern Africa, where the Wi-Fi is patchy but the sunsets are world-class. After thirty years in the software industry, much of it spent quietly wondering if I was the only one winging it (I definitely wasn’t), I left the corporate grind behind to write the kind of books I wish I'd had back then. My work focuses on imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and the unspoken pressures of high-performance environments. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe we get further when we’re honest with ourselves and each other. When I’m not writing, I’m probably off-grid, walking dusty paths, listening to bushveld silence, or chatting with others who’ve stepped off the hamster wheel.
