DR. JEREMY GORDON GRINNELL was a university professor for nearly fifteen years before becoming a professional audiobook narrator (under the name Gordon Greenhill) and author. He has released three volumes of his YA series, The Relics of Errus series, with a fourth volume coming soon. In it, a trio of sisters—Eli, Anna, and Rose Hoover—repeatedly visit the world of Errus, a wild "early steampunk" world where natural disasters give birth to mythological creatures—some harmless, some horrific. They find themselves caught up in ancient prophecies on the cusp of coming to pass, ancient wars about to be renewed, under constant threat of dwarves, fairies, mermaids, giants, plus a cast of strange human characters—the quirky scientist, the pious knight, the orphan boy. Trapped in a world that births fairies from windstorms and dwarfs from earthquakes, they seek to understand the mysterious relationship between the history of that world and their own family tree.   Additionally, Dr. Grinnell is the author of The Bellowing of Cain, a book about rebuilding one's life after self-destructive decisions--something he sadly knows a little about. A book to give hope to people whose greatest wounds were self-inflicted. Please note: The first few titles of The Relics of Errus series were originally released written under his acting pseudonym Gordon Greenhill. In 2023, second editions were released under the name Jeremy Gordon Grinnell. These new editions mostly fix typos and rebrand the author's name (no plot changes). If you purchased the original ebooks or audiobooks, they should automatically update to the newer edition. If not, please contact Amazon helpdesk.
