Jennifer Morag Henderson is a writer, based in the Scottish Highlands. She writes about history and biography, with a particular interest in the history of the north of Scotland. Her new book "Daughters of the North: Jean Gordon and Mary, Queen of Scots" is published in 2022. Jennifer Morag Henderson's first book "Josephine Tey: A Life" was listed as a Book of the Year by the Observer, the Independent, and the Telegraph, and acclaimed by reviewers in the Wall Street Journal, TLS, Literary Review, and elsewhere. Jennifer is the first biographer of novelist and playwright Josephine Tey. Jennifer's writing, both non-fiction and fiction, as well as poetry and plays, has been widely published and performed, and she is an experienced lecturer. She formerly edited literary magazine "Random Acts of Writing" and has worked in several different areas of the book trade. She is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, and Dalhousie University in Canada.
